Do customers need the Aplauso app?
No. Customers can use your code or professional profile link in their browser.
Who is Aplauso Solo for?
Anyone whose service is personal. Independent professionals such as guides, drivers, performers, trainers, stylists, and trades, and team members at hotels, restaurants, venues, and events.
Do I need to work for a business?
No. Aplauso Solo is designed for independent professionals and also supports people who are connected to an Aplauso Business. Your Solo experience stays personal.
Can I use Aplauso from the web?
Yes. The Solo dashboard lets you manage your profile, activity, sharing tools, earnings, and supported account settings from a browser.
How do I receive tips?
When you are ready to withdraw, open Wallet. It shows any eligible payout setup after current country, account, destination, compliance, funding, quote, and release checks. You can then follow availability and payout status in Aplauso. Timing depends on the selected route and each transaction’s authoritative status.
What payout options are available in my country?
Wallet shows only an eligible payout route and destination after current country, account, compliance, funding, quote, and release checks. Stripe Connect may be one route, not a universal promise. Other methods appear only where separately eligible; a country or currency list alone never enables a payout method.
Can customers see a tourist currency while I charge locally?
In supported kiosk experiences, a guest may view rounded tip suggestions in local or visitor currency. The payment remains in the property’s local charge currency, and the review screen shows the exact local amount before the guest confirms.
Can I change my code?
Your code stays connected to your Aplauso profile, so you can keep sharing the same destination as you update your public profile details.
What does Aplauso Solo cost?
It costs nothing to create your personal profile, reward code, and public link. There is no upfront subscription. Transaction-related charges may apply when tips are processed; see the Pricing page for current details.
Can customers leave feedback without tipping?
Yes. A customer can rate and share feedback without adding a tip. Tipping is optional.
